Enjoy a doubles tennis tournament and fiesta while contributing to a great cause on Monday, May 27th, 2013. Inspired by the memory of John Newman, participants will enjoy a day of tennis, socializing, and food. Proceeds benefit the Suicide Prevention Service of the Central Coast.
John Newman was a longtime club member, tennis player, and local dentist. His enthusiasm for tennis and life in general was exemplified by the many friends he had in the local community. His dental practice thrived in Scotts Valley for nearly two decades. John worked hard and played hard, and everyone is invited to enjoy this event that is so reflective of his interests.

Entry forms may be obtained at La Madrona Athletic Club or by clicking this link.
Entries are due at La Madrona by Friday, May 24th at noon.
Starting times and flights will be posted by Saturday, May 25th.
Play will be in round robin format according to level and finish within a 3 hour time block. Players may play in a second event if scheduling allows.
Juniors are welcome to play at estimated adult NTRP levels.
